Suncoast Mangroves is pleased to offer the following services, including, but not limited to:

• Consultation – Free consultation to discuss your environmentally sensitive areas. We specialize in working with the clients to determine the appropriate course of action.

• Permitting – When needed, Suncoast Mangroves can handle all aspects of the permitting process. The three permitting styles are as follows:
  1. Exemption – Suncoast Mangroves can help determine is your project qualifies for an exemption or if a General or an Individual permit will be required.
  2. General – Activities that do not qualify for an exemption may qualify for a General permit. This allows for the trimming (not alteration) of no more than 65% of the total mangrove area (square footage).
  3. Individual – For all other trimming or alteration projects that do not qualify for an Exemption or a General permit. These projects often require extensive mitigation.

• Trimming – We have an experienced crew, knowledgeable in the different trimming styles that can trim mangrove fringes in accordance with applicable state laws.

• Exotic Removal – We offer removal of exotic material located in and around environmentally sensitive areas. Check out our Survival Guide for some of the more common non-native plants.

• Mitigation/Wetland Planting – Suncoast Mangroves works with their clients to help resolve any mitigation requirements desired by local and state governments. This often includes exotic removal and wetland planting.
